Text Box: We had a nice September Meeting. The short time between the hurricane and meeting date, clean up and many other problems kept almost all our new members away. We decided to move the “Soil” program over to October so it would, we hope, inform the members that it could help the most. I, Joe Day, had a Bonsai Collection Management program on my flip pad so that became the September program. Soil, theory and practical application by Joe Day, Fred Morales, and Russell Coker will be the Oct 4th ACBS program. The season to repot bonsai will arrive shortly after the first cold spell of January. What you need to do, what you need to do it with and the bonsai that need to be repotted must all be ready at the same time. Soil is the home your bonsai live in. A happy home makes for a happy bonsai. Joe. Text Box: Masters Ben Oki & Suthin Text Box: The First Schedule “could be revised and probably will” calls for Ben Oki to hold a workshop with ACBS on January, 05. Suthin will hold a workshop January 14th. The location will be set up before the next newsletter. This is the first notice for all ACBS members to sign up to work with both Ben Text Box: and Suthin.
