Workshop
Location

Text Box: Text Box: Oki workshop, Jan 20th at 7 P.M. The Workshop will be held at the Providence Presbyterian Church located at 2320 Schillingers Road. It is about 100 yards on the left side of Schillingers Road after crossing Cottage Hill road going north to Airport Blvd. The cost to work with Ben will be $20.00. The observer fee is $3.00.
We will have extra slots for any one to work. If you want to work with Ben just show up with your tree.
I do not know the size of the room we will be using for Ben’s workshop. If it is smaller than the Garden Center room we will have to be extra careful to keep the noise level as low as possible.
We will also need to do a excellent clean up after the workshop. We certainly appreciate the church allowing us to use their building.

Text Box: March is the month when the first new leaves start to show, Azalea just might be in flower and the Juniper are showing a new flush of those lime green needles. This is a great time to see bonsai but we don’t have a show until the Day of Bonsai late in the month

Bring  one two or three of those beautiful spring bonsai to the March meeting. We can all enjoy the view and learn a bit about the history of each tree. It would be nice if we all could visit all the ACBS members collections each Spring but it’s a very busy month so

that will never happen.  I would like to have a nice back drop and some lights at the meeting  so we could photograph each tree. We will have to get together to plan that after we eat and drink our way past Christmas New Years holidays.            Joe
