Text Box: Every tree that makes it to become a good bonsai takes a path of hard work and good advice. A members workshop is all about seeking good advice. ACBS has a good group of experienced bonsai artist. They know how to get the most from any material and how to use development techniques to create any chosen style. Members workshops are open to any material. You pick the material that you think receiving good advice would let you make solid improvements over this growing season. This material could be nursery stock, a bonsai with problems, or a good bonsai that you want to make better. Workshops take up lots of time so we will start on time with the business meeting then get into the workshop as quick as possible. If you think you will need to wire a tree, bring the wire with you. Text Box: Pensacola Auction Text Box: The Pensacola Gulf Coast Bonsai Society will hold a bonsai auction at the Gulf Breeze Library starting at 7 P.M. March 2nd. Auctions are a great place to find bonsai bargains, hard to find items and sometimes impossible to find anywhere else items. Text Box: The goal of any auction is to raise funds for bonsai show and educational expenses. Without the support of other bonsai societies bonsai auctions fall short of funding goals. Please try and make it to this auction. If you need directions please ask at our next meeting. Text Box: ACBS President sent out a e-mail with directions to the auction.
