Text Box: The April 4th regular ACBS meeting will be another members workshop. This is a bring your material and get advice from the more experienced members. Joe Kuhn will also present a short program on bonsai pot selection. Workshop meetings only work if members bring material to work on. You can bring any form, size , shape or stage of development material. You can get advice, take the advice or reject the advice and do it any way you want. Every bonsai is the creation of the owner. Every bonsai has many way it can be developed into a mature bonsai. Finding the options, selecting the way you want to move forward developing the material is for creative people the most fun aspect of bonsai. That is what a workshop meeting is all about. Having fun finding the many paths a bonsai can take on it journey to becoming a great tree. Text Box: The “new” June Program Text Box: The June program will be a members covered dish meeting. This will be our “Summer Social”. This covered dish meeting will be at our normal meeting place-Botanical Gardens, normal day, June 6. Members are requested to bring Text Box: a covered dish of salad, vegetable or sweet. ACBS will furnish the main meat and drinks. We will elect officers at this meeting, select and vote on the events that ACBS will hold for 2007. The only event we are dedicated to now is the Tri-Cities Text Box: regional show. ACBS will host this event in 07. More about all of this in the next newsletter.
